Hi, i’m Trudi, an artist, illustrator and educator from Sheffield, and a Course Leader at London College of Communication, University of the Arts London.
I facilitate creative workshops for schools, colleges, universities, libraries and businesses, and I undertake editorial, children’s book, and private illustration commissions.
My current research project ‘Drawing Without Audience’ aims to explore how the practice of drawing can be used to encourage well-being and build community. As part of this I run UAL Drawing Club, a weekly online event open to all UAL staff and students. I have an MA in Children’s Book Illustration from Cambridge School of Art, and more recently i’m starting to fly my freak flag, thanks to The Good Ship Illustration.
